Free link shortener with QR codes Print a short link once. Change where it goes any time.
PostStage turns any long web address into a short link at poststage.link, with a QR code to print. Put the code on your counter, menu or box, then point it at a new page whenever you like. 100 links a month free, 1,000 on Starter, and never an ad.
Scan for the Diwali sale
poststage.link/yourshop/offers
Same printed code each time. Only the page it opens changes.
What every link gets
Every plan, Free included
A QR code for every link
PNG and SVG, ready for a poster, a menu or a box. Scans are counted apart from clicks.
Change where it goes
Point a link at a new page any time and the codes you printed open it too. Pause a link, or delete it.
Clicks, day by day
How many people opened each link, and how many of them scanned its code.
Your own words
poststage.link/yourname/diwali instead of a random code, under your free bio page's name. 10 a month on Free.
No ads, no waiting page
A short link opens its page straight away.
Checked for safety
Every link is checked with Google Web Risk when it's made or changed, and once a day while it still gets clicks. Anyone can report a link.
Starter and above, as well
Expiry dates and passwords
Stop a link on the day an offer ends, or ask for a password first.
Where clicks come from
The country, phone or desktop, and whether a click came from Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook or direct.
Codes without our name
On Free, the PostStage name sits in a code's corner. From Starter you can leave it off.
Unlimited words, longer history
As many words as you like, and 1 year of clicks (2 years on Pro).
In the posts you schedule, too
Turn on Shorten links in the PostStage composer and every link in a post becomes its own short link for each platform, so you can see which platform brought the clicks. Most useful on WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn and Facebook, where links in posts can be clicked. Links made this way don't count towards your monthly short links.
Free, or more with a plan
Short links come with every PostStage plan, along with scheduling for 16 platforms.

Questions about short links
What is a link shortener?
A link shortener, or URL shortener, turns a long web address into a short one that opens the same page: poststage.link/s/Ab3x9 in place of yourshop.in/collections/diwali-sale?ref=instagram. Short links fit in captions and on print, and they count their clicks. PostStage's come with a QR code each, and you can change where one goes after you've shared or printed it.
How do I shorten a link?
Paste it in the box on this page and make a free PostStage account (no card). Confirm your email address, press Shorten, and the short link and its QR code are ready to copy, or to download as PNG or SVG.
Is it really free?
Yes. The Free plan makes 100 short links a month, each with a QR code, and a link never shows an ad. You need a free PostStage account so every link has an owner: that's what keeps spammers off poststage.link, so your links stay trusted.
Can I change where a link goes after I've printed its QR code?
Yes. Change the destination any time and the same short link, and the QR code you printed, open the new page. You can also pause a link, or delete it.
Do free short links expire?
No. A short link works for as long as your account exists, on every plan, unless you give it an expiry date yourself (Starter and above). Moving to a smaller plan doesn't break links either: only making or changing links beyond the new plan stops. Codes are never reused, so an old link can't start opening someone else's page.
Is there an ad or a waiting page before the link opens?
Never. A short link opens its page straight away, on every plan, Free included.
What can I see about clicks?
Every plan shows how many clicks each link got, day by day, with QR code scans counted apart. Starter and above also show the country, phone or desktop, and where the click came from (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook or direct). We use no cookies and keep no personal data about the people who click.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Links use poststage.link: poststage.link/s/code, or a word of your choice under your bio page's name, like poststage.link/yourname/diwali.
What can't I link to?
Phishing, malware, scams, spam, impersonation, adult or illegal content, or anything that hides where a link goes to get around a platform's rules. Every link is checked with Google Web Risk when it's made or changed, and a link that's flagged or reported is switched off.
