Cut one wide image into seamless Instagram carousel slides that flow into each other as people swipe. Free, and your image never leaves your device.
Your image stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Choose a wide image
A panorama, a banner, or a design you made wide on purpose so it flows across the slides.
Pick slides and shape
2 to 10 slides, portrait 4:5 (1080 × 1350) or square (1080 × 1080). Slide the crop until it sits right.
Download and post
Save the numbered slides, or all of them as a ZIP, and post them in order as one carousel.
Slide width × number of slides, by the slide height. For portrait 4:5 slides that's 1080 × 1350 each, so 3 slides need 3240 × 1350 and 5 need 5400 × 1350. A smaller image still works; the tool tells you when slides will look soft.
No. The image is cut on your own device, in the browser. Nothing is sent to PostStage or anyone else.
Yes. Each slide starts at the exact pixel where the one before it ends, so the picture continues across the swipe with no gap or overlap.
Portrait 4:5 takes up more of the screen in the feed, so it's usually the better choice. All slides in one carousel use the same shape.
Add them in order (they're numbered 01, 02, 03…) to a new Instagram post. With PostStage you can schedule the carousel to go out at an exact time, from your computer.
PostStage posts Instagram carousels, Reels and Stories at the exact time you pick, alongside 15 other platforms, from one dashboard.
