Free QR code generator
Make a QR code for any link, in your colours, with rounded dots or your logo in the middle. Every code is checked to scan before you download it, as PNG or SVG. No sign-up.
Logo in the middle
PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2 MB. A square logo on a plain background reads best.
Type your address to make your code.
Checked to scan before it downloads. No sign-up, and your logo never leaves your browser.
This code can't be changed once printed.
It opens your address directly. Make it a free PostStage short link instead to change where it goes after printing and see how many people scan it.
Make it a short linkPrinting it?
Put a short link's code on a ready-made design: a Diwali offer standee, a menu table tent, a Google review card, a window sticker or a visiting card, in English or Hindi. See the print templates.
Questions about QR codes
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Make as many codes as you like, with colours, shapes and your logo, and download them as PNG or SVG. There's no sign-up and no watermark, and the codes never expire: they point straight at your address.
Can I change where the QR code goes after printing it?
Not with a plain code: it holds your address itself. Make a free PostStage short link first and put that in the code; then you can point it at a new page whenever you like and the printed code follows, and you can see how many people scanned it.
Will a QR code with a logo still scan?
Yes, within limits. The generator uses the strongest error correction when there's a logo, keeps the logo to about a fifth of the code, and decodes every code before it downloads. If a style doesn't read reliably, it tells you why instead of downloading.
Which colours work for a QR code?
Dark dots on a light background, with clear contrast between them. Most phones can't read light dots on a dark background, so the generator doesn't allow it.
PNG or SVG?
SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size, from a sticker to a banner. PNG (1024 pixels) for screens, posts and documents.
