Best TikTok Scheduling Tools in 2026

TikTok rewards posting often, and posting often is hard to keep up by hand. TikTok has a scheduler of its own, and most social media tools now schedule TikTok too, but they don't all do the same things. Some publish your video for you; some send a reminder to your phone and you finish it in the app.

Here's TikTok's own option, the rules every outside tool has to follow, and six tools compared, from each company's own website in October 2026.

TikTok's built-in scheduler

TikTok lets you schedule videos from TikTok Studio on a desktop browser (tiktok.com/tiktokstudio). When TikTok launched its scheduler, it allowed posts from 15 minutes to 10 days ahead; check TikTok Studio for the current window.

It's free and it's TikTok's own, so nothing is lost on the way. The limits: it's desktop-first, it only looks a short way ahead, and it only posts to TikTok, so it won't help if the same video also goes to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

The rules every TikTok scheduler follows

TikTok sets rules for any app that posts on your behalf, and they explain some things you'll see in every tool:

  • You choose who can see each post, every time. Apps have to show the privacy options TikTok allows for your account (public, friends, followers, only me) and let you pick one, with no default.
  • New apps can only post privately. Until TikTok has reviewed an app, its posts are set to "only me", for at most five users a day. If a tool's posts keep coming out private, that's why.
  • Effects stay in the app. Trending sounds, stickers and other in-app effects can't be added by outside tools, which is why tools send those posts to your phone.

1. PostStage: videos out to the second, priced in rupees

PostStage schedules TikTok videos (MP4 or MOV, up to 512 MB) from the same composer as 15 other networks, so one video can go to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts together. It posts straight to your profile, not to your TikTok drafts.

  • Cover: pick any frame of the video, instead of TikTok's first-frame default.
  • Post settings, as TikTok requires: choose who can view (no default), and turn comments, Duet and Stitch on or off; they start off.
  • Disclosure: switches for promoting your own brand or branded content, which add TikTok's "Promotional content" or "Paid partnership" label.
  • Exact timing: the video starts publishing at the exact second you set.
  • Evergreen repeats (Starter and above): send a published TikTok out again every 30 to 180 days.

Watch out for: video only; TikTok photo posts aren't supported. PostStage's composer notes that TikTok allows about 15 posts a day per account.

Price: Free for 1 account and 15 posts a month; Starter ₹499 a month (₹399 billed yearly), or $6 outside India, for 15 accounts.

2. Later: TikTok and photo carousels, on every plan

Later's help centre says TikTok scheduling works on all its plans. You choose Auto Publish, so the post goes live on its own, or a notification to finish it in TikTok.

  • TikTok photo carousels, scheduled from desktop or iOS
  • Videos from 3 seconds to 3 minutes
  • Best time to post for TikTok

Watch out for: auto-published posts use original audio only; for a trending sound, Later suggests the notification route. Paid plans start at $18.75 a month billed yearly.

3. Buffer: simple, with a free plan

Buffer publishes TikTok videos automatically, or sends a notification if you prefer.

Watch out for: videos over 10 minutes, posts with music and polls are sent as notifications, and music, stickers and effects aren't added when Buffer publishes for you. The free plan covers 3 channels; Essentials is $5 per channel a month billed yearly.

4. Metricool: the most photos per carousel

Metricool auto-publishes TikTok photo carousels of up to 35 images (JPEG or WebP, up to 20 MB each) as well as videos, with TikTok privacy settings in its presets. Its free plan covers one brand and 20 posts a month; Starter is from $20 a month billed yearly.

Watch out for: auto-publish is a switch on each post. Leave it off and you get a notification at the scheduled time instead.

5. Planoly: for creators who also plan Instagram

Planoly auto-posts TikTok videos and photo carousels, alongside its Instagram grid planner. TikTok is one of the networks in its analytics, on paid plans. The free plan includes 10 posts a month; Starter is $14 a month billed yearly.

6. Vista Social: TikTok plus an inbox

Vista Social publishes to TikTok and brings TikTok comments into its social inbox, where Facebook, Instagram and TikTok update in real time. It suits teams that answer comments as well as post, but its cheapest plan is $950 a year (about $79 a month).

Frequently asked questions

Can you schedule TikTok posts for free? Yes. TikTok Studio's own scheduler is free, and Buffer, Metricool and PostStage have free plans that include TikTok.

Can you schedule TikTok posts on your phone? TikTok's own scheduler is built for desktop. Scheduling tools work from a browser, and several have phone apps.

Why did my scheduled TikTok post go out as private? Either you chose "only me" as the viewing setting, or the tool hasn't yet been reviewed by TikTok: until then, apps can only post privately.

Can scheduling tools add trending sounds? Not when they publish for you. Outside tools can't add TikTok's in-app sounds, stickers or effects, so tools send those posts to your phone to finish.

Can I schedule TikTok photo carousels? With Later, Metricool and Planoly, yes. PostStage schedules TikTok videos only.
