Loomly Alternatives: 6 Tools Compared (2026)
Loomly built its name on a friendly content calendar, post ideas and approval workflows that clients could understand. People start looking elsewhere for a few reasons:
- The plans changed. Loomly's 2025 plan update "may include pricing adjustments", and it says it is "unable to revert accounts to previous subscription plans".
- No X. Loomly doesn't publish to X (Twitter), and Snapchat works only by reminder.
- One account per network per calendar. "Loomly only allows you to connect one social media account of each platform per Calendar."
- Features removed. Pinterest analytics and Instagram account-level impressions are no longer available.
Loomly is now owned by Bending Spoons. Here's what it costs today, and six alternatives, with prices from each company's own site in October 2026.
What Loomly costs now
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49/mo ($588/yr) | $65/mo | 12 social accounts, 3 users |
| Beyond | $249/mo ($2,988/yr) | $332/mo | 60 social accounts, unlimited users |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | 61+ accounts |
Starter includes approval workflows, analytics, post inspiration, an ideas board and replies to comments and messages. Clients you invite count as users, so a three-person team that adds one client has outgrown Starter. A limited free plan (3 accounts, 5 posts a month) exists but "might not be available for all users". Nonprofits get 50% off.

1. PostStage: the most accounts and seats for the price
PostStage is a scheduler built in India. Pro is ₹999 a month (₹799 billed yearly), or $12 ($9 yearly) outside India, for 30 social accounts, 10 team seats and approvals: members submit, managers approve, reject with notes or reschedule. Clients can be invited as Viewers to see what's coming without editing. It publishes to 16 networks, including Google Business Profile, Bluesky and Mastodon, and you can connect several accounts on the same network, each in its own timezone. There's an Ideas board for planning, reports with your logo, and posts go out at the exact second you set.
Watch out for: no social listening, LinkedIn personal profiles only (no company pages yet), and X is a paid add-on.
2. CoSchedule: the closest match to Loomly's calendar
CoSchedule calls itself "Social Media Management On The World's Best Calendar", and its calendar-first approach is the nearest thing to Loomly's. Starter is $29 a month billed yearly for 1 user and 3 profiles (extra profiles $5 each); Professional is $49 for 2 users (up to 3, extra users $29 each) and 5 profiles; Suite starts at $69 with unlimited users. There's a free plan for 15 queued posts on one profile and a 14-day trial.
It publishes to 11 networks, including Mastodon, Google Business Profile and X (X is a paid add-on). Approvals, client calendars and white labelling start on Professional. If a post needing approval isn't approved in time, "it will fail to publish", so nothing slips out unchecked.
3. Planable: unlimited users, free approvers
Planable prices per workspace, one per client, with unlimited users: Basic is $33 a month billed yearly (4 social pages, 60 posts a month) and Pro $49 (10 pages, 150 posts). Approver accounts are free, and the first 50 posts are free with no time limit. Required approvals come with Pro, and multi-level approvals with Enterprise. The inbox and analytics are paid add-ons per workspace.
4. SocialPilot: many accounts, client features from Premium
SocialPilot's plans are flat per tier: Essentials $25.50 a month billed yearly (7 accounts, 1 user), Standard $42.50 (15 accounts, 3 users) and Premium $85 (25 accounts, 6 users). Visitors in India see rupee plans, from ₹1,700 a month billed yearly. Approvals start on Standard; client approvals, unlimited client seats and white-label reports on Premium. It publishes to 10 networks, including Google Business Profile and Bluesky.
5. Buffer: simple, with a free plan
Buffer's free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each. Essentials is $5 per channel a month billed yearly for one user; Team is $10 per channel with unlimited users, approvals and branded reports. It publishes to 12 networks, including Mastodon, Bluesky and Google Business Profile.
6. Sendible: unlimited users and client dashboards on every plan
Sendible prices by workspace (6 profiles each) with unlimited users on every plan: Core is $29.75 a month billed yearly, Plus $84.15 (18 profiles). Every plan gives clients their own dashboard to preview and approve content. Assigning posts for approval starts on Plus; branded reports on Premium. It doesn't publish to Pinterest.
