Planoly vs Enji vs PostStage: Which Planner Fits You?

"Enji vs Planoly" is a common search, and it's a slightly unfair match-up, because the two tools are built for different people. Add PostStage and you have three tools that all schedule Instagram posts, each built around a different idea:

  • Planoly is a visual planner. It's built around your Instagram grid, and it adds a link-in-bio shop.
  • Enji is a marketing system for small business owners who do their own marketing. Scheduling is one part of it; planning, AI writing and coaching are the rest.
  • PostStage is a publishing tool. It gets your posts out to Instagram and 15 other networks at the exact time you set, priced in rupees.

Here's how they compare, with prices and features checked on each company's own site in October 2026.

Planoly: for people who plan the grid first

Planoly says it "invented grid planning", and its planner is still the reason people choose it. You see your upcoming Instagram posts in the layout your profile will have, above the posts already live, with tabs for Grid, Reels and Stories and placeholders for posts you haven't made yet.

Prices: Starter is $14 a month billed yearly ($16 monthly) for 1 workspace, 1 user and unlimited posts. Growth is $24 ($28 monthly) for 2 workspaces and 2 users, and Professional $47 ($55 monthly) for 6. Each workspace connects one account of each network. The free plan includes 10 posts a month, without the media library, AI writer, analytics or best-time suggestions. There's a 14-day trial.

What it does well:

  • Auto-posts Instagram posts, Reels and Stories (one item per Story), and carousels of up to 10
  • First comments on posts and Reels
  • Creator Store, a link-in-bio page for selling products, services and content, which takes no cut of sales
  • Instagram product tagging and collaborators
  • Comment-to-DM automations, which Planoly is rolling out on paid plans

Watch out for: collaborators, location and product tags, and Instagram analytics need your Instagram linked through a Facebook Page. X posts always go to your phone as a reminder. Best time to post covers Instagram only.

Planoly changed hands in January 2026, when Dave Hersh and Adam Kulick bought it from its private-equity owner; the CEO stayed on.

Enji: for small business owners who want a marketing plan

Enji describes itself as "the confidence-boosting marketing system solopreneurs and small business owners need", and it's clear about who it isn't for: "Built for small business owners. Not full-time content creators or big teams."

Prices: a free plan connects 2 platforms with 8 posts a month and about 5 AI captions. Social Media Only is $19 a month for 2 profiles per network, unlimited posts and about 25 AI captions, with up to 2 more people. The Full Marketing Suite is $29 a month or $289 a year: unlimited accounts, about 60 captions and 8 blog posts a month from the AI writer, and monthly group coaching with Enji's founder. Paid plans have a 14-day trial without a card.

What it does well:

  • A marketing plan, campaigns and a calendar, not just a posting queue
  • An AI copywriter that learns your brand voice, plus an idea generator and mood boards
  • Auto-publishing to Instagram (posts, Reels and Stories), Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube Shorts, once you approve each post
  • An Instagram feed preview, carousels, up to 3 collaborators and saved hashtag groups
  • Tasks with due dates for anyone helping you

Watch out for: Enji is built for one business doing its own marketing, not for managing several brands. Its feed preview is a preview, not a full grid planner. Analytics need a paid plan.

PostStage: for posting everywhere, on time, in rupees

PostStage is a scheduler built in India. It doesn't try to plan your grid or coach your marketing. It makes sure your posts go out, in the right format, at the exact second you chose, on every network you use.

Prices: Free covers 1 account and 15 posts a month. Starter is ₹499 a month (₹399 billed yearly) for 15 accounts and 60 posts per account a month. Pro is ₹999 (₹799 yearly) for 30 accounts, 10 team seats and approvals. Outside India that's $6 and $12. Starter and Pro have a 14-day free trial without a card.

What it does well:

  • Instagram posts, carousels of up to 10, Reels with a cover frame you pick, and Stories, all auto-published to Business and Creator accounts, with no Facebook Page needed
  • A first comment on every plan, Free included, and Collab posts with up to 3 co-authors
  • Comment-to-DM on Pro: anyone who comments your keyword gets your link in their DMs
  • 16 networks from one composer, including Google Business Profile, YouTube, Bluesky, Telegram and WordPress
  • AI captions in English, Hinglish or Hindi, with festive and Indian tones (Starter and above)
  • An Ideas board and best-time suggestions on every plan, and a calendar with drag-and-drop on Starter and above

Watch out for: no grid planner, no link-in-bio shop, and no location or product tags.

Which one should you pick?

Pick Planoly if your Instagram grid is your shop window, you plan posts by how they look next to each other, and you want to sell from your link in bio.

Pick Enji if you run a small business, do your own marketing, and want help deciding what to post as much as a tool to post it, plus a founder's coaching call each month.

Pick PostStage if you post to more than Instagram, want every post out exactly on time, use a Creator account without a Facebook Page, or want to pay in rupees. It's also the one of the three built for teams and agencies, with 10 seats and approvals on Pro.
